Dear Parents,

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read this letter! Today is the last day of the first trimester. Your child will be bringing his/her report card home next Friday. I’d like to thank you in advance for sitting down and carefully talking about it together. As you problem-solve possible ideas for improvement, please also recognize the positive steps your child has taken so far this year. It is very encouraging to see kids who really want to do their best and are learning what it takes to reach their goals. Thanks again for YOUR unending support!

The Great Cookie Caper happens next Tuesday! After school that day, we are packaging up cookies to give to Wings of Hope Hospice for distribution to patients and their families. If you’re interested in sending in a couple dozen homemade cookies, please do so by Tuesday. Thank you so much!! (Yes, I will make sure to send them along…Really…:) )

Lastly, I hope your family enjoys special time together this Thanksgiving weekend appreciating the blessing you are to each other. I am especially thankful that your child is in my class this year. What a real joy it is to see his/her smiling face each morning!
