Hello Parents!

It’s been another exciting week in LoomisLand! We became turkeys in English, finished assessments on our Deep Sea Dive in social studies, and rocked out on our Chapter 1 math test! Be sure to ask your child about all of it!

Just so you know…The first trimester ends on Tuesday with no school the rest of the week due to Thanksgiving. Report cards will be sent home Friday, December 2. Thank you in advance for carefully discussing your child’s progress with him/her. What a difference it makes!

It appears that our Michigan winter is trying to roll in. Since the temperatures are getting colder, please help your child understand that he/she should be heading off to school daily with all appropriate winter gear. (Thick sweatshirts are not warm enough these days.) If you need assistance from our Winter Wear program, please let me know. Thanks!

Just so you know, your child only has a Reading Log for the next two weeks and not one-minute timings. The packet is worth 10 points, and your child may pick any ten days to read. Thanks again for all of your support!
