Dear Parents,

Good afternoon! Thanks for taking time to look through your child’s folder with him/her. I appreciate all the efforts you’re making to encourage your child!

It’s been a great week in LoomisLand with Mrs. Shepich! The kids spent time this week remembering the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the difference it has made in our lives today. Hopefully with Monday’s homework assignment, you had a chance to talk with your child about the progress that’s occurred because of his commitment to equality. I hope you enjoyed your conversations!

Just a reminder that our P.T.O. Family Fun Night is next Friday, January 27. It includes dinner and open swim, putt-putt golf, and inflatables for activities. You may also purchase a 50 cent Valentine Candy-Gram to have sent to your child during our Valentine party. A reservation form for Family Fun Night is on today’s Parent Bulletin, or you may send in a note with the number planning to attend. You won’t want to miss it, so sign up soon!

Thanks for sending back your Parent/Teacher Conference Form! I look forward to sitting down and talking with you on February 15 or 16. I welcome the kids to their conference again this time if it’s okay with you.
