Dear Parents,

Welcome to today’s Friday Folder! I would like to thank you again for taking the time to support your child’s education. Going through papers together, quizzing him/her on spelling words, reading together, or even just asking about how the day went greatly strengthen and encourage your child in his/her approach to school. THANK YOU!

We are off to a running start in this new year! We’re fully back in the swing of things, and there are a lot of exciting events coming up. The first is our P.T.O. Family Fun Night, which is on Friday, January 27. A reservation form is on today’s Parent Bulletin, or you may send in a note with the number planning to attend. As usual, the dinner is at 6:00 p.m. with the fun afterward. You won’t want to miss it, so sign up soon!

In the interest of planning ahead, Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 15, from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, February 16, from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Forms to sign-up are enclosed in today’s folder. Send them back as soon as possible to get the time slot of your choice. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with you at our last conference, and I look forward to meeting with you again!

As you know, your child’s Midterm Progress Report was sent home on Tuesday. If you have any questions, please check Pinnacle or let me know and I’ll send home another copy as soon as I return. Thanks!
